Dance, dance, dance

Slides,sprinkler fun, swimsuits, music, and dancing! What a great time to be a dancing toddler! Kayla usually dances anytime she hears music. I think it started on our long car trips. Whenever Kayla was antsy in the car, mommy and daddy would turn up the music and jam out. Yes, Jeff would also dance in the car just to get Kayla to smile.

Wonderscope

Kayla,G-G,and mommy had a wonderful morning at Wonderscope. Wonderscope is kid's in-door playground for them to play. There are different activities in every room.
Here is a picture of Kayla and mommy walking through a maze. She loved this area. there was a play boat that she steered the steering wheel.

Kayla loved the water room. She splashed in the tubs full of water with the toy sailboats.

Kayla also went into the art room where she painted a picture with water colors. She also colored on a mirror with washable crayons. Mommy helped her write her name!

Nice Doggie!

Grammie has a statue dog of a black lab. Kayla likes to sit on the fireplace and pet the dog!

Here, Kayla leans in and kisses the dog! After she kissed him, she said "nice doggie". Very cute.

Happy Wedding Reception!

Brad and Stephanie got married in Grand Cayman on a cruise in June. After they got back, they decided to have a reception in Kansas City for all of their friends and family. Jeff and Sarah got a night to relax and spend with friends while Kayla played at the Curry house where she played with her cousin Hunter. Congratulations Brad and Stephanie!

Jude's Birthday Party!

Ten little kids under the age of three joined Jude's second birthday party. The adults enjoyed the company of the kid's parents while the kids played together. Kayla and her other friends sat at the kid's table. Here Kayla cheers Jude for a very happy birthday!


We went outside where we played with the bubbles and the slides.


While Kayla enjoyed playing with all of her friends, mommy also enjoyed the company of her friends!

Little Helper

Kayla is turning into a helper around the house! When I vacuum, she wants to vacuum too. In fact, she gets out her toy vacuum and thinks she is helping! Just the other day, I was unloading the dishwasher and wanted to help. She got out the silverware and handed them to me!

Happy Fourth of July!

We started off the fourth by having lunch with grandpa and Bobbie. It was so nice to see them, it has been several months since we have all been together! The afternoon was spend with the Curry's. We are very thankful Kathy and Jack are healing from their accident! It was so good to see them in better spirits. During the evening, we went over to Lacey's for a barbeque and some fireworks. When it got darker, and Kayla was tired, we decided to drive over to a parking lot to see professional fireworks. However, it was pooring down rain, so the firworks were canceled. Kayla went to bed over at Grammie's house and Jeff and Sarah went to Brad's and Stephanie's house for a much needed catch up time!

Welcome Brooklyn!

Baby Brooklyn Becker is the cutest newborn! I am so glad the Beckers now have a girl to put bows in her hair! Kayla and Brooklyn will become the best of friends one day! Kayla can show her the ropes. We went to go welcome her home when she was only a couple days old. Kayla enjoyed playing with the older brother, Jackson. She also loved taking a picture while mommy held her! Congrats Lindsey, Jack, and Jackson! Baby Brooklyn is adorable.

Boo Boo!

Poor Kayla! She feel down on the concrete. What makes matters worse, it was in the middle of professional pictures. We will have to reschedule the pictures!

Happy Birthday G-G!

Happy birthday to great grandma! Our family came in late Friday night. We were welcomed with steaks and great salads! Outside on the porch, Kayla and Christy took turns pushing each other on their toy car. After dinner,we all played with Kayla and Christy on the swings! Have a great birthday GG and many more!
