Cheering for the Cats!

We went to the watch party at a restaurant to cheer on K-State in the Elite Eight. While our cheering helped the cats make some good plays, we must have not cheered loud enough for them to win. Kayla came along too. There she found Dan's son who was flirting with her! He could not stop touching her face! Oh, how cute! Of course, Kayla had her purple bow on her hair to make her extra cute!

Using Unwanted Electricity

In the mornings we have been finding Kayla's closet light on when she screams at the top of her lungs letting mommy and daddy know it is time to get up! Of course this time is usually 6:30 a.m. INCLUDING weekends! We made sure we turned off the closet light when we put her to bed and we got her in the morning to find her light on. Dinner with Jack!

I have a good friend who is only five days younger than me! Mommy, daddy and I meet up with Jack and his mom and dad for dinner. I was able to sit across from Jack and make funny faces at him.

Playing with Snow!

We took Kayla outside to play in the snow today. She liked it for about 30 seconds then she wanted nothing to do with the snow. I guess she is just as sick of the snow as everyone else. Here are some pictures of the family playing in the snow together!

Girl Time!

I love going home to Kansas City to see my best girlfriends! I was able to have lunch with Amy and her son Jude at my favorite restrant Jose Peppers. Jude and Kayla were laughing at each other all during lunch. Kayla and mommy also had a lunch date with our good friend Lindsey. We went to Houllians and saw Lindsey's new home! Congratulations on the new home Lindsey and Jack!
On Thursday night, Becca, Lacey, Lara and Kate came over for pizza and some qualitly time hanging out with Miss Kayla. Kayla went to bed early and the girls and I were able to catch up on the long lost time! I love my girlfriends in KC. I miss you girls daily!

Cousin Time!

Kayla and Hunter had so much fun playing together. Although, Kayla was a negative influence on Hunter. She taught him how to open up the cabinets and pull all of the items out. I was able to babysit Hunter for a little while. Kayla and Hunter played so well together. They played a game with me...let's make mommy/Aunt Sarah chase us all of the house! Oh, it was a wonderful time. However, I am sure glad I do not have twins! :)

Visiting Baby Nathan

Kayla and I went to visit Nathan Bauer, son of Amy and Jack Bauer. Here is a picture of both of them sitting. I can't believe Kayla was once that small! In fact, she was even smaller at birth! It was great to see Amy and baby Nathan! Kayla had a hard time sitting still with baby Nathan.I tried to have Kayla sitting next to Nathan, but she could not sit still, so she had to take a picture with him in her car seat. She kept walking away and finding fun things she can play with. Congratulations Amy and Jack!

I am in charge around here...I tell Mommy and Daddy NO! I hope they don't gang up on me soon...I am having fun being the baby.

Walkin On My Own

Hey everyone, I have been learning how to walk over the past few weeks and I am doing great. I fall down often, but I get right back up. I love walking and I can't wait until I can run around and drive my parents even more crazy than I do now!! Love, Kayla
