The Iowa Barnstormers

On Saturday night Kayla, Mommy, and Daddy went with Jordan and Tiffany to the Iowa Barnstormers game. It was Kayla's first time to see an Arena Football Game and her first live sporting event. We went over to Jordan and Tiffany's house beforehand for a very nice dinner before going to the game. It was an exciting game for Kayla. She was so wonderful and really had a good time. She was so energized after the game that she talked the whole way home and was as awake as she could be until she fell asleep at around 11 pm. The family had a great time!

Baptism!

Hey guys! It is me, Kayla. I was baptised on Sunday! I did so well for my mommy and daddy! I did not cry at all during the service. When I was blessed with the water, I was a very calm baby. I am so happy my Aunt Judy is my God-Mother! I have a great God-Father too. His name is Brad. After the church service, a lot of family members played with me at my Grandpa and Grandma Curry's house. Both my mom and dad's side of the family was there to celebrate with me! I had a very busy weekend! I was so tired, I slept the whole trip home to Des Moines!

Fun Times with Family and Friends!

We had a great time with all of our family and friends this weekend! Oh...we miss all of our family and friends! It is so nice to drive only three hours to see all of you! However, it would be awesome if we could be in the same town someday!

This year was Kayla's first Easter. Her Gramie even got her an Easter basket! Of course the candy inside of it was for her parents!

Cousins!!!!

Kayla visited both of her cousins this past weekend! Christy is six months older than Kayla. Christy is able to stand up while holding onto furniture. She knows how to pull herself up but she has not figured out how to come down safely yet (notice the bruise on her forehead...poor Christy). While Hunter is three months younger than Kayla. I know Kayla was once Hunter's size but it is so hard to believe she has grown so much since birth!!!

Little Miss Kayla now enjoys spending her days looking around the room and sucking her thumb, hand, or a combination of both depending on her mood. She is learning so many new things and she is "talking" all the time now. Baby girl is growing up!

Welcome Hunter Curry!

Kayla now has two cousins! Hunter Curry was born on Sunday, April 5th. He is exactly three months younger than Kayla. Here is a picture of the proud parents!

Cutie Kayla! Mommy loves to dress up Kayla! The "naked" shirt is the truth! She would rather be naked anytime. Most babies cry when they get changed...not Kayla! I might have a problem on my hands when she is older!
