Happy Fourth of July!

We started off the fourth by having lunch with grandpa and Bobbie. It was so nice to see them, it has been several months since we have all been together! The afternoon was spend with the Curry's. We are very thankful Kathy and Jack are healing from their accident! It was so good to see them in better spirits. During the evening, we went over to Lacey's for a barbeque and some fireworks. When it got darker, and Kayla was tired, we decided to drive over to a parking lot to see professional fireworks. However, it was pooring down rain, so the firworks were canceled. Kayla went to bed over at Grammie's house and Jeff and Sarah went to Brad's and Stephanie's house for a much needed catch up time!

Welcome Brooklyn!

Baby Brooklyn Becker is the cutest newborn! I am so glad the Beckers now have a girl to put bows in her hair! Kayla and Brooklyn will become the best of friends one day! Kayla can show her the ropes. We went to go welcome her home when she was only a couple days old. Kayla enjoyed playing with the older brother, Jackson. She also loved taking a picture while mommy held her! Congrats Lindsey, Jack, and Jackson! Baby Brooklyn is adorable.

Boo Boo!

Poor Kayla! She feel down on the concrete. What makes matters worse, it was in the middle of professional pictures. We will have to reschedule the pictures!

Happy Birthday G-G!

Happy birthday to great grandma! Our family came in late Friday night. We were welcomed with steaks and great salads! Outside on the porch, Kayla and Christy took turns pushing each other on their toy car. After dinner,we all played with Kayla and Christy on the swings! Have a great birthday GG and many more!

New York!

Here are the pictures of New York. We went to New York City, while Kayla spent quality time with Grammie.
During our trip to New York, we went to comedy shows where we laughed and enjoyed each other's company. We visited the World Trade Center reamains, the Empire State Building, stores like Louis Vitan, H & M, and Tiffany and Co. We got our fair share of New York pizza and hot dogs as well. We also visited Central Park, The MET, The Museum of Natural History, and walked 5th Avenue from 88th to 33rd Street. Our "homebase" was Times Square which is only 11 blocks from our hotel. We also saw sights such as Madison Square Garden, Rockefeller Center, St. Thomas Episcopal Church, and St. Patrick's Cathedral.

We went to Central Park, Times Square, and the Broadway play,Lion King!





The best experience was when we went to the David Letterman show! The guest star was Salma Hayek.

Pack Rat!

Kayla hides everything in her shopping cart. She pushes around the cart with all of her findings. When mommy and daddy can not find their keys or the remote control, we know where to look! Most likely, it is in Kayla's shoping cart!

Playing in the Park!

Jack and Kayla had a playdate while Katie and Sarah got to hang out for a talk. We went to the park and had a picnic. Then Katie and Sarah chased around the kids while they played!

Lunch with Friends!

Amy and Lindsey are wonderful high school friends. We decided to get together for lunch. Our husbands and children came too! The kids sat in the highchairs and laughed at each other while they were eating. We tried to get a picture at the end, but you can see, Kayla was too busy to have a picture interfere with her life! I was the only non-expecting mom. Pretty soon, both Amy and Lindsey will have two kids to chase after!

Theta Reunion

How the time goes by, but yet it was so familiar! Back to the good old days! Can you beleive it?.. it has been five years since college. The theta girls got together for a girls night on Friday and watched the Royals game on Saturday. It was wonderful to catch up with everyone. How I wish we didn't live so far away!
