Cleaning the House

Miss Kayla is able to clean the house! While mommy was cleaning the kitchen floor, Kayla decided she wanted to help. She got the mop from my hands and started sweeping the floors! What a big girl!

My 9 month (now 10 month report)

I went to the doc last week technically for my 9 month doctor appointment. However, it was closer to 10 months than anything. I am now 28 inches and 18 pounds and 1 oz. We also got the all clear to eat more table foods! Mommy has already given me green beans and mac and chesse! I think I can get used to this.

First Halloween!

I was a ladybug for halloween! I went trick or treating with mommy and daddy! I went to visit GG during my halloween night! Then I watched a scary movie (Scream 3) with my parents. Here is a picture of me trick or treating and another one with my cousin Hunter. Hunter is the monkey!

My New Toy!

Mommy and Daddy got me a new toy and I love it. It is a walker/car and I am learning how to walk with it. I will soon be walking...I think. I am pretty clumsy still, but I will be up and going soon. Look at me play with my new toy!!

First Corn Maze!

After watching Children of the Corn with daddy, we went to a pumpkin patch in Iowa. Mommy and daddy took me in the stroller and we were able to get lost in the corn maze! After an hour, we finally were able to find our way out! I didn't care. I was happy in my stroller where I fell asleep.

I am learning so much! Not long after I learned how to crawl, I am now able to pull up on my own and taking a few steps!

What a weekend!

My mommy and daddy drove me to Kansas City to see family and friends this weekend. I was (of course) a perfect princess! I got to see Nana and Papa Curry, Grammie and Brain, Aunt Judy and cousin Christy and G-G! I loved seeing everyone. On Friday, Nana and papa watched me while my parents helped Lindsey celebrate her birthday. My parents went to the k-state game on Saturday. and I loved staying with G-G! She said she missed me as soon as my parents picked me up from her house. Saturday night I stayed with Grammie and my mom and dad went to scary haunted houses! On Sunday, we went to the pumpkin patch with Grammie, Aunt Judy and cousin Christy.

Baby Proofing!

Hey guys, It is me Kayla! I am crawling so much my parents need to baby proof more! Don't get me wrong, they have already baby proofed! They put outlet covers all over the whole house so I do not end up sticking glasses in the outlet hole like my aunt Judy! They have also moved furniture out of the living room that may be considered dangerous for a baby on the go! Now it is time to put up the baby gates! My mommy and daddy say I make them so tired by chasing me everywhere! Well, what can I say? I am curious about everything!

I wish I had so pictures to show you. My camera broke and no longer takes pictures. Mommy says she will go to Best Buy and fix it soon!
